REST

So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his. Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. HEBREWS 4:9‭-‬11, ESV.

So we conclude that there is still a full and complete “rest” waiting for believers to experience. As we enter into God’s faith-rest life we cease from our own works, just as God celebrates his finished works and rests in them. So then we must give our all and be eager to experience this faith-rest life, so that no one falls short by following the same pattern of doubt and unbelief. HEBREWS 4:9‭-‬11, TPT.

Rest is such a beautiful reality. To be still and quiet on the inside especially when external activities are in an uproar. To find joy in the speakings of the Holy Spirit because His whispers are more than whispers, they are reverberations of life in the silence. To be satisfied even when the words of the Comforter are unworded. Rest! This product of faith is wonder to me.

RELEARNING

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. PHILIPIANS 4:9, KJV.

Follow the example of all that we have imparted to you and the God of peace will be with you in all things. PHILIPIANS 4:9, TPT.

Sonship. The essence of salvation. The reason Jesus my Lord and saviour made himself of no reputation, took on the form of man (a desecration of his majestic nature) to suffer scorn and rejection. Sonship. The greatest gift of God to man. The reason our relationship isn't just Creator-Creature but Father-Son. The reason for the bond and intimacy words will never be able to articulate. Sonship is the wonder at the core of my heart. It's the revelation that has opened me up to another dimension of awe. Could God really be this good? Did he really allow himself be my identity? Am I really this good? Is my nature really the full expression of love as my maker and Father is?

OCEANS AND DEPTHS

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. PHILIPIANS 4:7, KJV.
And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. PHILIPPIANS 4:7, AMP.

There is a certain type of quiet in the atmosphere of my spirit. It's an unprecedented expression of still. As sounds, voices and echos fill the air with an overwhelming pressure, all I hear is quiet and my heart response is still. He says it's peace. I have peace. He says I am calm and I must value and acclimatize to the quiet and still. He didn't say calm just because, He said that is my name and nature. So in the ocean, in the depths of the ocean where the storm finds expression He says I must not lose myself. Calm must be. In it's being, there is quiet and in quiet there are rhythms, unspoken rhythms and tunes that He sings over me. As he sings He wants us to do the lover's dance. He wants me to dance with Him from my core in the ocean storm and depths. He wants a hearty dance as the rage of the storm serve as instrumentals to the song He sings. My lover, the strangest of all yet the one who sees and knows my all like no one does in his tender fiery gaze. He wants a dance in the ocean and deep as I be “calm”.
